There is a small pond right outside of my condo and I passed through there today on my way to the pier the condo complex has that is on the intercoastal. Some of the pictures you can see here. In the pond, there is a small family of turtles and it seems that the babies were out for an afternoon swim with the schools of fish sharing the pond. The mother and father turtles saw me and quickly gathered up the younger ones and moved them out of reach of the camera lens.
If the ripples weren’t there, it almost looks like the turtle is floating on the water.
